Makhana – 2 bowls
Potato – 1
Green chili – 2
Green coriander – 1 tbsp
Black pepper powder – 1/4 tsp
Desi ghee – 1/2 tsp
Lemon juice – 1 tsp
salt – as per taste

How to make Makhana Khichdi
To make Makhana Khichdi full of taste and nutrition, first finely chop potatoes, green chillies and green coriander. Now take makhana and cut them into small pieces as well. After this, put half a teaspoon of desi ghee in the pressure cooker and keep it on high flame to heat. When the ghee melts, make the gas flame medium. After this add finely chopped potatoes, green chillies and cook for some time.

Now put Makhana in the pressure cooker and mix it. Mix black pepper powder and salt as per taste in it. Then put half a cup of water in the cooker, cover it and cook it till 4-5 whistles. Now turn off the gas and wait for the pressure of the cooker to release. After this open the lid and take out the Makhana Khichdi in a vessel. After this, squeeze lemon juice on the khichdi and garnish with green coriander. Makhana Khichdi can also be made in a pan instead of a pressure cooker.
